New Principle of Fault Data Synchronization for Intelligent Protection Based on Wavelet Analysis

Abstract In order to eliminate the influence of delay error sampled value in data link on longitudinal differential protection device, this paper proposes a self-healing synchronization algorithm based wavelet transform calculate moment sudden change. First, mutation amount at each end real time. When threshold is exceeded, it determined that multi-terminal system has short-circuit fault. Then, according change characteristics collected current waveform, modulus maximum used extract fault time data, one terminal, automatic compensation for differences between terminal and others are realized, thus new sampling sequence formed. The resynchronized sequences braking after ensure correct action protective device. Through theoretical analysis simulations, correctness effectiveness proposed verified; addition, shown can improve reliability actions by intelligent realizing protections such as differential, wide-area etc.
